We are currently in the midst of blueberry season in Arkansas. Fresh blueberries are by far my favorite fruit although blackberries are really good too. It also seems to be huckleberry season although the only ones I really know about around here is a small bush in the back yard.

So far we've picked only a few gallons. A dozen or so lasted through this last year. The frozen ones aren't appealing for a while after eating fresh ones, so after picking is over, we don't eat many for maybe a couple weeks. One neat thing about picking blueberries is that you can eat as many as you want throughout the year. They are so expensive in the grocery store--even when they're in season, that you just get a taste of them.

The plan was to go picking again today, but I was really tired this morning for some reason, so the picking's been delayed. I may still go this afternoon, but that remains to be seen.

Well, after inadvertently deleting my last entry while testing, I now have a rudimentary content posting system (and no Yanthor, you may not look at my code (it is a complete mess. Hopefully I'll clean it up sometime. I was playing around with a bunch of stuff and the result is really just a test app)).

So anyway, this is my first post from said test app (yes, I know, this is the way generally used for posting content). I happen to like creating content from the shell. Oh well. Anyway, I got inspired to dink with my webpage, so there it is, something you can't even see. Oh well. Thanks Bryce for giving me another project to work on. :-)

Hmm, interesting how I spend the major portion of the day driving several hundred miles and at the end of the day, I sit down and look at the same webpages I looked at before I left. And no one's posted anything! I guess I missed out on nothing. Interesting.

I don't have much interesting to say, I just thought I'd mention that I managed to arrive in one piece (not that I've unpacked yet mind you).
